1. Agreement

By accessing roastrush.life or using our café and related services, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and RoastRush Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202531682K), registered at 9 Kim Yam Road, #01-04, Singapore 239328.

2. Brand definitions — "Roast" and "Rush"

For clarity across marketing, domain naming, and guest communications:

• "Roast" refers to coffee roasting craft — the controlled application of heat to green coffee seeds to produce brewable beans. It does not refer to fire-safety equipment, pyrotechnics, arson, wildfire imagery, cannabis combustion, or any non-coffee combustion product.
• "Rush" refers to the decisive pull-off second on a roast curve when a batch is dropped from the drum — timing where development and sweetness align. It does not refer to illicit drug use, stimulant branding, energy-drink products, get-rich-quick programmes, adrenaline sports, or life-coaching services.
• The domain extension .life is branding only. RoastRush is a micro-roastery café and pour-over atelier, not a lifestyle coaching programme, wellness retreat, or self-help course provider.

3. Nature of services

RoastRush Pte. Ltd. operates a specialty coffee shop and micro-roastery in Singapore offering walk-in hospitality, in-house roasting, pour-over and filter coffee service, supporting espresso, retail bag sales with roast-date labelling, cupping sessions, office subscriptions, and event brewing. We do not provide software licences, marketing-agency retainers, online academic degrees, medical treatment, financial advice, or guaranteed competition outcomes.

4. Website content — informational only

Menu descriptions, craft stories, roast calendar examples, and tasting notes are hospitality content based on current cupping readings. They are not promises that any bag or cup will taste identical in your home or office environment. Origin availability, roast dates, and pricing may change without notice. Illustrative figures on the site (rest windows, batch sizes) describe typical practice, not guaranteed performance metrics.

5. No guarantees on flavour or awards

We explicitly do not guarantee award-winning flavour in every bag, perfect extraction on every visit, or identical sensory results across harvests, storage conditions, water chemistry, or brew equipment. Any reference to competition-style scoring on the cupping table is internal calibration language, not a public claim of medal status unless explicitly documented with verifiable source. Descriptors such as citrus, chocolate, or floral are subjective readings, not medical or nutritional claims.

6. Lawful hospitality and advertising

We comply with applicable Singapore laws on food retail, advertising, and consumer protection. We do not claim that coffee cures, treats, or prevents disease. We do not use unlawful urgency tactics, fake scarcity, or misleading before-and-after health narratives. Promotional email is sent only where permitted under PDPA and our Privacy Policy.

7. Bookings, subscriptions, and events

Cupping bookings and event services are confirmed subject to availability and payment terms communicated at booking. Cancellation windows and deposits for private tables or catering will be stated in confirmation emails. Office subscriptions renew according to agreed schedules; either party may terminate with notice specified in the subscription agreement. Failure to pay may pause delivery without prejudice to outstanding amounts.

8. Retail sales

Retail coffee is food product sold by weight with roast dates printed on packaging. Returns due to subjective taste preference are handled case-by-case at management discretion when product is within stated rest window and unopened. Defective or clearly stale product reported promptly may be replaced or refunded. Statutory consumer rights under Singapore law remain unaffected.

9. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful purposes or to transmit malware, spam, or abusive content through our forms.
• Attempt unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
• Scrape or harvest data in violation of robots.txt or applicable law.
• Misrepresent affiliation with RoastRush or impersonate our staff.
• Submit false enquiries or bypass security controls including honeypot fields.

We may suspend access for conduct that threatens site integrity or staff safety.

10. Intellectual property

Website design, text, logos, roast-curve motif, and licensed photography are owned by or licensed to RoastRush Pte. Ltd. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Reproduction, republication, or commercial use requires prior written permission except where fair dealing applies under the Copyright Act.

11. Third-party services

Payment processors, maps, fonts, and analytics (where consented) are provided by third parties under their terms. We are not liable for third-party service interruptions outside our reasonable control.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the scope of hospitality services explicitly purchased.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoastRush Pte. Ltd. and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or café services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a specific transaction shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that transaction in the preceding three months, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RoastRush Pte. Ltd. against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.

16. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid term closest to the original intent.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any written booking or subscription agreement, constitute the entire agreement regarding website use unless superseded by a signed contract for specific services.

19. Changes

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will not apply retroactively to completed transactions. Continued website use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
